This is another design for the book 1984. This design has a lot more detail in this cover then the last one I posted about. I personally like the other book cover design better, but I like this one as well. I like how that they used typography in the background as well.

Book Cover

This is a book cover design for the classic book 1984. I like this design and got a lot of inspiration from this design. Its a very simple design though, but I think it does a good job.

Typography

I was browsing google images when I came to this design. I really like how the designer used words and font to make an image. I think that typography is a cool way to make a design.

Another movie poster

Lots of movie posters have great designs. This poster for Star Wars is also great. It was also one of my favorite movies. I like how they put lots of different images that show what the movie is about.

Movie Posters

One thing that I find inspiring is movie posters. This one is one of my favorites. I like how this posters design gives off a dark feeling. The bat symbol really contrasts with the rest of the poster.

A good design

For my Graphics design class we told to create a blog. In this blog I will post a picture that I think has a good design. This picture has a good design because of the contrasting colors. This also happens to be my favorite team in the NFL, the Chicago Bears. This is alos a good design because of its simplicity.

Introduction

This will be my first blog post I have ever done. My name is Calen Potter and the reason I am making this blog is for my class at parkland gds 108. Right now at parkland college I am enrolled in four classes. the classes are english101, digital photagraphy, gds 108, and digital media foundation. I am trying to get a major for digital media. I have always liked video games and have dreamt of creating them. By taking these classes I will get a greater idea of what is a good design.
